Slow Food UO is a chapter of an international organization. It is important to universalize the mission and message of what we do. So, let’s think about this goal that is the backbone of Slow Food across the globe. Slow Food USA said, “[Our battle is] to counteract fast food and fast life, the disappearance of local food traditions, and people’s dwindling interest in the food they eat, where it comes from, how it tastes and how our food choices affect the rest of the world.”
